Saturday the 29th of February was "Tree Day" in North Hi-Mount. Thanks to the hard work by Mary and Markus Kypreos, over seventy trees have found new homes in our neighborhood. Below are a few pictures of our neighbors picking up their trees. Also a special thanks to the City Forester and the group of volunteers from NTSU for helping with the planting. If you have an event that you would like to present to the neighborhood please contact one of the officers for more info. |

THANK YOU Mary & Markus for all your hard work!!!!!! |
Below you will find pictures of the new Sign Toppers that the NA has approved. The words "Neighborhood Association" will not appear on the signs. The goal is to get all the streets signs in our entire neighborhood done. Right now, with private contributions and funds from the NA account we will be able to cover all the intersections at our neighborhood streets and 7th as well as Camp Bowie. The intersection of Virginia and Clarke as well as Madeline and Clarke are covered as well. The picture of North Hi-Mount Elementary School was one that was done by a pupil of the school quite a few years ago.The toppers cost $60.00 each and that includes delivery and installation. So if you would like to get some people on your street together, and split the cost to donate a sign, just let Block Captains Lori Parker or Ann Stahl know. |
